one kiss from you
takes me back
to the time
when things were good

it makes me wonder
if this is where i should be
maybe it's time

waking up next to you
with you tucked in me
i stroke my fingers

as it distracts me
from savoring

the chills of this rainy night

gives me goose bumps

as i lay in bed

and i start to think of you
