Watching Her Sleep

she asks me to leave
when she goes to sleep
but i don't feel like
leaving her

i watch her fall asleep
and wish i was there
so that she doesn't have to
on her own

my eyes are
glued onto her pretty face
i can't take my eyes away
she makes me smile everyday

and i feel like
i am the
luckiest guy
to have her in my life
