unexpectedly involved,
while tangled up in bed
the risk i took
was fruitful
nervous i was
when i reached for your lips
and when you kissed me back
i was overwhelmed with joy
you were like a full moon
after a long dark night
though time wasn't on our side
i'm glad how things turned out
i'm going far away
uncertain when i'll be back
but memories of you
would always make me smile
