What I Feel

you gave me joy
and plenty of happy memories
but did i give you joy?
or did i make you cry?

these questions
i keep asking myself constantly

never for a moment i regret
what we went through
or wish that i could go back
and do things differently

though sometimes i wish
that you ended up in my arms
but that was not to be

the pain i feel
is of no importance to me
as long as
happiness stays in your world
