Tears on a Paper

unable to do anything
i'm sitting here at my table
with only a pen and paper in hand

i try to think of something to write
but the pain i suffered,
in your world
blocks my mind from thinking

this pain i need to get over
though i don't know how
i can't talk to anyone
as i'm ashamed,
of what happened

thoughts dried out
and pain filled in
i want to cry
and let it out

but tears won't come
so here i am
pouring the pain onto a paper
