half an hour past midnight
i was deep in my sleep
a familiar tone in the far distance
starts to creep into my dream
the noise increased
and I woke up
to find out that it’s my phone
which has been ringing
i answered the phone
only to hear an unfamiliar voice
half asleep I was
yet I tried to figure out,
who she is
we talked for a few minutes
then i hung up the phone
too sleepy to think about what happened,
i went back to bed
